Eyes closed activities like feely bags can really make a child focus and concentrate, whilst using their sense of touch to reinforce learning. Use concrete objects early e.g. Dominoes, picture lotto, card games like snap, matching pictures, word or rhyming pairs. Word or picture bingo games.

Extra: It's easy to experiment with depth perception! Place a few items on a table in front of you, then close (or cover) one eye. Try to reach for the objects quickly, without trying to feel where they are. Make sure you don't use anything fragile!
